Suspected Boko Haram members have reportedly detonated Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) at the Kuje market and a Police station, about 40 km south west of central Abuja.
A resident told Information Nigeria that she heard gunshots shortly before heavier sounds were heard. According to her, if she was right about the sounds she heard, there might have been a gun battle before the bombs went off.
Explosions were also reported at Nyanya.
