Senator Ben Murray-Bruce has told those calling for the break-up of Nigeria to forget about it, adding that the country is better as one united entity.
He said “Brexit hit the British economy hard. I’m sure they’ll recover. But what does it mean for Nigeria? It means we’re better as one united nation.”

“The amount the world has lost due to Brexit is over $2 trillion so far. More than UK ever gave EU. Nations are better together than apart!”
“If a nation as advanced and stable as UK can experience extreme economic shock from breakup with the EU, what awaits Nigeria if we break up?”
Groups such as the Niger Delta Avengers and other Biafra agitators have also called on the Federal Government to emulate the British in their just concluded referendum.
The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) recently seized properties belonging to Senator Ben Murray-Bruce over an N11b debt.
