Alexis Sanchez is poised to return to the Manchester United squad after his recovery from a hamstring injury.
The Chilean has been updating his social media to show his efforts in training as he bids to get back to match fitness.
And temporary manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told reporters: “Alexis is back. He flew in on, I can’t remember what day it was, but he’s had two days of good fitness work, hopefully he can join in training with the ball as soon as we get back [to Carrington training ground].”
He added that he hoped the forward would be part of the squad for the forthcoming fixture against Bournemouth, and would “probably definitely” be involved for the next match against Newcastle.
