A former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, has said the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state, Alhaji Isa Ashiru, is not happy with the fact that the state had been set backward under the All Progressives Congress government led by Nasir el-Rufai.
Himself and the party leaders vowed to return the state back to its peaceful, united and developmentmantal state when the PDP is voted back to power in 2019.
His words, “I feel sorry for Kaduna State now that hunger, kidnapping, killings, job losses and absence of any development are the trademarks of the APC under the governorship of Nasir el-Rufai.
“When you vote Ashiru, the PDP will return Kaduna State from its present backwardness and tyranny of power, to the days when the PDP constructed roads, built schools, hospitals and provided rural areas with electricity and many more.”
