De Ligt Needs To Join An Attacking Team – Ronald de Boer

Matthijs de Ligt’s agent, Mino Raiola wants the Ajax defender to join Manchester United at the end of the season.

Mino, who is also Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent, has a very tight relationship with the Red Devils after several businesses in the past.

Barcelona are favorites though, but Raiola prefers a move to a more profitable football club.

Mundo Deportivo recently reported that Raiola would prefer his player accept the offers of United, Juventus or Bayern Munich over Barcelona.

However, De Ligt himself is considering a move to the Spanish giants where he can do bits alongside Frenkie de Jong, his current teammate, who already sealed a move to Barca.

Ajax youth coach Ronald de Boer also believes De Ligt should play in an attacking team.

His words, “For De Ligt, it’s up to him what he wants to do. He has to look for a team that plays attacking football and has time on the ball,’ De Boer told TalkSport.

‘For me [he can go to] Barcelona, Manchester City, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, these teams I would advise him to go there.

‘But I mean all the other teams, even Tottenham, they’re great teams to play for.”
