Ex Bayern Munich CEO, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has come out to say that he feels sorry for Leroy Sane after he was booed by club fans vs Koln. Karl recently revealed that he believes the winger can bounce back in the coming weeks.
According to him, the fact is that the young German cannot be criticized for lack of trying even if he currently lacks self-confidence.
Rummenigge added that Sane has a bad last season and European Championship, but Nagglesman will surely get him back on track.
His words, “I didn’t like that. I feel a little sorry for him. He always tries, but he lacks self-confidence,”
“He had a bad last season and the European Championship, which of course doesn’t help.”
“Nagelsmann must now try to get him back on track. You have taken too much money into your hands for that.”
“[Sane’s situation is] comparable to the situation of Arjen Robben,”
“Arjen wanted to leave us, but we rebuilt him and held him. A year later he became the match winner against Dortmund.”
