Zylpha (www.zylpha.com), the UK’s leading innovator of legal document production and distribution systems has announced a new version of its widely acclaimed court and document bundling system. The move reflects the significant acceleration in demand, from both legal practices and local authority lawyers for secure bundling technology which can deliver significant efficiencies across the enterprise.
Zylpha’s cloud-based court and document bundling solution is already recognised for the speed and ease of use with which legal bundles can be produced, incorporating content from all standard document formats including PDFs, Word, Excel, Visio and video evidence such as CCTV. The latest version goes much further.
Amongst the major new features incorporated are two important integrations. The first of these is for SharePoint, which is rapidly establishing itself as a significant document depository in the legal marketplace. The other is for HP Worksite, the document management system of choice for many of the UK’s top 200 law firms. This new functionality reinforces Zylpha successful targeting of this marketplace and allows current Zylpha clients to achieve enhanced functionality from their existing Zylpha and HP Worksite investments.
Another recognition of Zylpha’s increasing popularity amongst larger customers seeking an effective bundling solution, is the inclusion of server based processing which minimises software distribution and allows dedicated processing. Intuitive document selection has also been incorporated with an easy to use decision-tree based navigation system for picking which documents are to be included in the bundles. This speeds up processing and makes the new Zylpha system compatible with other Microsoft products. There is also enhanced document flexibility to ensure that covers and indices are now more flexible and can be formatted at a bundle level as well as at a system setting. There is also greater flexibility in pagination.
These new enhancements are part of Zylpha’s on-going product release strategy which aims to enhance core products on a 6 monthly cycle to ensure that clients are always equipped with the very latest technology.
Commenting on the launch Tim Long, CEO of Zylpha, believes that the new version builds on existing success in the market. In his view, “Court bundling has come of age and we have increasingly seen the adoption of our systems throughout the practice and local authority sectors. However, we are committed to ensure that our clients are equipped with the very latest functionality and performance metrics. These needs are fully addressed by the new version.
“We are also finding that our systems are winning many friends amongst the largest law firms too. Thus, this latest release is significant as it not only meets our customers’ on-going and evolving needs but it also supports and reinforces our business development plans for other exciting market spaces.
“In addition there are a host of other new products scheduled for 2014/15. These will include an automated Integration with the Land Registry, which we hope to announce shortly.”
Amongst the other applications in the Zylpha range are: secure document transfer, integrations with the Ministry of Justice’s Road Traffic Accident / ELPL claims portal, electronic document verification and online AML identity verification.
