Manchester United legend, Michael Carrick has been appointed the new manager of Middlesbrough, the English Championship club has announced. The club recently made the announcement via a press statement, and fans have been reacting.
According to Carrick, he is really excited to be at Middlesbrough at this point in his coaching career because it is a club with such a deep history and tradition.
He added that Middlesbrough was the first professional club he played for as a nine-year old boy, so it is a very special feeling to be back as a head coach.
