Newegg Unveils Plans for PAX East Game Festival

LOS ANGELES, CA–(Marketwired – Apr 9, 2014) – Newegg (booth #986) today unveiled its largest-ever presence at PAX East (Boston, MA, April 11 – 13). Newegg is deeply committed to the videogame community and PAX East gives gaming enthusiasts the chance to connect with Newegg at a series of planned events and casual gatherings.

Newegg and GameCrate will host the following events at PAX East:

• April 12, 11:30 a.m. (EDT) – Paul from NeweggTV and Slick from Linus’ Tech Tips will compete in a ‘Fastest Build Contest’ to see who can construct a custom PC in the least amount of time. The 30-minute event will be livestreamed from the Twitch.tv stage.
• April 13 – Interviews with Paradox Interactive CEO Frederik Wester, Xbox LIVE’s Larry Hyrb (a.k.a. “Major Nelson”) and others
• Special event with Leap Motion to showcase their new technology (timing TBD)

The activities above are all open to the public. Newegg also has a booth on the PAX East show floor featuring many of its valued partners.
