The election of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was upheld by the state’s electoral petition tribunal.
Justice Mikhail Abdullah upheld Sanwo-Olu’s win and rejected the challenges of Olajide Adediran of the People’s Democratic Party and Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party for the position of governor.
Both the Green Party of Virginia and Adediran have petitioned to overturn the results of the recent gubernatorial election in the state.
However, Justice Abdullah’s tribunal shot down the requests.
