Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen should write a great chapter in England like Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Adebayor has said. He recently revealed that he is praying for the Nigerian to move to the Premier League, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Osimhen has the right attitude, mentality and determination to excel in the EPL, so he hopes he goes there someday to show what he is capable of.
Adebayor added that Victor has already conquered Italy, therefore it is time to try something new.
His words, “He has the right attitude, mentality and determination to excel there (in England). I’m praying for him to move to the Premier League and show what he’s capable of. The Premier League is the toughest and best (league) in the world. Osimhen has shown and done it already in Italy, I think it is the right time for him to move to England and replace his idol Drogba and do beautiful things. He has all it takes to make a name and write a great chapter in England like Drogba.”

Victor James Osimhen MFR (born 29 December 1998) is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Serie A club Napoli and the Nigeria national team. Considered one of the best strikers in the world, as well as one of the best players in the world. He is known for his elite finishing, pace, strength and athleticism.
Born in Nigeria, Osimhen began his senior career in Germany at VfL Wolfsburg in 2017. Following a season and a half at the club, he moved to Belgian side Charleroi on loan in 2018–19, before moving to France at Lille.
Osimhen was born in Lagos, to parents from Edo State. He grew up in Olusosun community in Oregun/Ojota area of Lagos State. Growing up, his footballing idol was Didier Drogba.
Osimhen started his career at the Ultimate Strikers Academy, based in Lagos, Nigeria. In January 2016, after being noticed for his performances at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup, Osimhen committed to a pre-contract with VfL Wolfsburg, stipulating that he would officially join the club in January 2017.
