Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has come out to say that his dad, Pete Edochie named him after famous Russian-American stage actor, Yul Brynner.
The moviestar revealed this in a recent post on Instagram.
According to him, his father took this decision because he shares a lot of things in common with the late “The King and I” star.
He added that since he has actually grown to be like Brynner, by looks, eyes, bald head, he now believes that the name given to a child actually plays a major role in his or her development.
His words, “My father named me after this great actor Yul Brynner. He was an outstanding stage and film actor, with a deep voice.
I seem to have grown to be just like him, same looks too, same eyes, same bald head, though my nose is way bigger than his.
So I’m just thinking…. The name you give to your child, does it play a role in the development of that child?”
