The Chief Imam of Ikenne, Alhaji Sheikh Hussain, has described the Balogun Adinni Summuratul Mumeen, Hon (Dr) Kamorudeen Oladipupo Adebutu, as not only a man with embedded compassion for humanity but one with uncommon passion for good governance.
He called for massive support for the Odogbolu-Ijebu born politician, a call he premised on his unshakeable article of faith in the fact that Hon Ladi would be accountable to the people of the gateway state and offer servant leadership.
Alhaji Husain said this at a special Ramadan program organised by Lado Muslim Affairs Forum on May 18, 2018. The event was held at Adebutu’s residence. The occasion had in attendance eminent islamic scholars, spiritual leaders and representatives of over thirty groups
In his remarks, Hon Ladi, who is also the Mogaji Adinni of Ifo and Mayegun Adinni of Ijebu Waterside, thanked Allah for granting him the grace to be part of the 2018 holy month of ramadan . He equally expressed his happiness to be in the midst of Islamic leaders whom he called the spiritual pillars of Nigeria.
He reminded the gathering that the fasting period was for spiritual commitment, promotion of peace and offer of prayer for peaceful co-existence of Nigerians irrespective of religious and political affliation.
He reiterated for the umpteenth time his stand that islam and christianity were one saying that, in actual fact, good attitude to Almighty Allah and our neighbours was the greatest religion.
He prayed for a fruitful ramadan season and Allah’s blessings at all times.
