Adrien Rabiot is only a hostage in French club, PSG, according to his agent, Veronique, who is also his mother.
The midfielder has been suspended by the Paris club until March 27 after he was seen at a nightclub after PSG’s exit at the hands of Manchester United in the UCL.
He even liked a provocative video by Man Utd legend, Patrice Evra on the same night.
She said to L’Equipe, “Adrien is a prisoner — a PSG hostage,”
“Soon it will be dry bread, water and the dungeon for him — it is a cruel environment!”
“I am not crying and looking for sympathy, nor trying to weaken Adrien further by saying that he is not coping well, but his human side is under attack,”
“I will simply say that he is taking all of this very badly since the start.
“Adrien is training since he was suspended, but I will not tell you where, with whom and how.”
“It is easier for PSG to speak about us and make stories up about Adrien than to face facts and find solutions for this club to become efficient and effective on the pitch!”
“At PSG, there are players who are six minutes late because they were napping [Rabiot was sanctioned and dropped against Marseille away in Ligue 1 for missing a prematch team talk by that amount of time], while others can go and party on the other side of the world at the Rio carnival when they are injured.”
