Ahmed Musa is pleased with Leicester City’s impressive start in the Uefa Champions League and is keen to help his side seal qualification for the knockout stages as soon as possible.
The Foxes have won their opening three games of the competition against Club Brugge, FC Porto and FC Copenhagen and currently sit top of group G.
A draw for Leicester in the next game against FC Copenhagen on Wednesday could see them seal a place in the last 16 and Musa is keen to play his part to make that a reality.
“We have been doing very well in the Champions League because we started very well in all our previous matches.
“After three games, we already have nine points.
“We are trying to see if we can go to Copenhagen and get something out of there; if possible, win the game.
“Trying to qualify from the group stage (is the immediate objective),” Musa told Premier League Television.
Musa has yet to score for Leicester in the UCL but has scored two goals for the Foxes in the English Premier League since completing his move from CSKA Moscow in the summer.
