Alhaji Wale Adedibu, a prominent member of the APC in Oyo State, passed away recently.
After a brief illness, he passed away on Saturday.
Adedibu’s passing follows that of the APC women’s leader in Oyo North Senatorial district, which occurred just days before.
Princess Adebowale Atoyebi, leader of the APC women’s faction, passed away last week.
Barrister Sharafadeen Alli, the senator for Nigeria’s Oyo South senatorial district, expressed shock at the news of Adedibu’s death.
In a statement released by his media advisor Akeem Abas, Alli praised Adedibu for his loyalty and dedication to the party.
The dead, he said, had dedicated his life to expanding the party in the state.
He remarked that everyone should take Adedibu’s passing as a sobering lesson of how short life can be.
He sent his condolences to the APC family as well as the victim’s loved ones and political colleagues.
