Argentina Is Less Feared When Messi Isn’t Around – Alexis Mac Allister

Liverpool midfielder, Alexis Mac Allister has come out to share how Argentina will fare in Lionel Messi’s absence. He recently revealed that opponents are more afraid when the captain is around, and fans have been reacting.

According to him, players in the Argentina national team know that when Messi is not around, there is a need to become even stronger and step up to the challenge opponents throw at them.

Mac Allister added that Argentina is blessed with footballers who play in big European clubs, so there are several quality replacements.

His words, “We always focus a lot on the group and the team. We know that when Leo is not there, we have to become even stronger because we don’t have that player who, when things go wrong, can save us.

We know that when Leo is there, they (rivals) are a little more afraid, it is normal. We also have players who play in big clubs in Europe and when they see the Argentine National Team, they know that it is not going to be an easy match and that’s what we want.
