Oyo State Government has commenced payment of compensation to property owners whose property were affected by the dualization of roads in the State. The state Commissioner for Lands Housing and Survey, Mr. Isaac Omodewu stated this while addressing the press at the Governor’s Office Agodi Ibadan. Mr Omodewu said the payment of compensation became necessary to bring succor to the people who sacrificed their property for the Urban Renewal Programme of the State Government.
