Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has come out to say that Barcelona should be seen as innocent until proven guilty amid the Negreira case. This is coming after Joan Laporta was charged with bribery over the same case, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, as far as he is concerned, both Barcelona and Joan Laporta should not be pronounced guilty until facts are presented to prove they are not innocent.
Pep added that the club earned its successes in the past, so people should not try to falsefully downplay things now.
His words, “You didn’t see how good this team was, it was a scandal how well we played. When there is a sentence, I will give you my opinion. Barca is innocent, Laporta is innocent, until the opposite is proven.”
