Erling Haaland will not join Bayern Munich in the summer, the club’s future CEO, Oliver Kahn has said. He recently revealed that anyone saying the move will happen clearly doesn’t understand the current situation at FCB.
According to him, a transfer that will cost over €100m is unimaginable for FC Bayern at the moment, so no huge signing will be coming in.
He added that Lewandowski still has a two-year contract at the club, and his performances in Germany cannot be questioned.
His words, “Sorry, whoever spoke about that didn’t understand the situation.”
“A package that costs – as we heard – over €100m is unimaginable for FC Bayern at the moment.”
“Robert still has a two-year contract here. His performances cannot be questioned. He’s scored 39 goals [in the Bundesliga] so far!”
“Just for that, we don’t have to think about Haaland today. Robert can keep this level for a few more years.”
