As the 90th Oscars Annual Academy Awards were held on the 4th March of 2018, it was the time for the celebrities to once again rise and shine! As they walked the Red Carpet, you could see different shades ranging from all-white to bold tones of mustard and cobalt. The Red Carpet, this year, was full of glamour, variety and high fashion. Below, take a look at some of the best dressed celebrities at the Oscars 2018.
Emma Stone
Celebrities never cease to innovate! At the 2018 Oscars, the award-winning actress Emma Stone who starred in La La Land decided to shun her usual Red Carpet gown to wear a silk jacket anda pair of trousers. With only a wine-coloured jacket with a hot pink belt, she easily stood out from a crowd of celebrities mostly dressed in white. Instead of pairing the jacket with trousers of a matching colour, she opted for classic black pants.
Emma Stone completed her outfit with a pair of plain black court shoes. She also wore amber and silver earrings. She kept her strawberry blonde hair in a deep side parting, beautifully swept over her face. Her outfit for the night was from the Louis Vuitton house as she worked with her usual stylist, Petra Flannery to get ready for this occasion.
Jennifer Lawrence
Have you ever worn a metallic designer dress? Jennifer Lawrence in fact wore such a dress at the Oscars 2018! In this lovely Christian Dior gown, she was sparkling on the Red Carpet. The dress consisted of thin straps and a heavily embellished skirt. The top had a trendy and bustier shape while the skirt simply flowed to the floor.
Jennifer Lawrence wanted her dress to shine at the event, so she did not wear too many jewelleries. She only wore earrings and bracelets made of a simple line of diamonds. With this simple but elegant outfit, she has an effortless dressing style. She is also known to have been wearing several other Christian Dior dresses on the Red Carpet in the past.
Margot Robbie
White was definitely the latest craze at the Oscars 2018! Australian actress and film producer, Margot Robbie did not remain indifferent to it. She appeared very polished and poised in her Chanel Haute Couture white gown. She seems to be a fan of sequins and dazzles. Her gown for the occasion consisted of a simple white column, with a small train and straps which hung off her shoulders.
The plastic handbag and embroidery gave her outfit a modern touch. The poised effect was amplified with a minimum of jewelry. The quilted motif on her diamond earrings was the ideal complement to her dress, forming a quiet punctuation. Apart from her sophisticated gown, Margot Robbie was also nominated in the Best Actress category for her movie ”I, Tonya”.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman stole the show as she walked on the Red Carpet at the Oscars! She wore a strapless form-fitting navy gown by Armani. It accentuated her slender figure so well! The large leg split up the center drew more attention to the gown’s dramatic bow. She proudly showed off her trim pins and upper thighs wearing black strappy stilettos.
Nicole completed her outfit with diamond necklaces, bracelets and her wedding ring. Her jewelleries were worth millions from jeweller, Harry Winston, made with a total of 84-carats. She kept her luscious blonde hair neatly parted in the center and tucked partially behind her ears. Her makeup was also flawless with light foundation, blush and a bold red pout.
With such dazzling stars on the Red Carpet, it seemed almost as if the awards were already attributed even before the trophies were handed out.And it surely reminded us of Kate Winslet, who, twenty years back was one of the prettiest lady at the 1998 Oscars. She was then nominated for the renowned movie, Titanic! Want to relive the beautiful performance of the actress? You can plunge back into time at Robin Hood Bingo by playing Titanic Slots.
