Nigerian lawyer, Stan Alieke has come out to say that under the customary law in Igboland, it is the bride price that validates the paternity of a child. He recently had his say via a post shared on his Instastories, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, if a man is yet to pay the bride price on the mother of his child in Igboland, the child will be presumed a bastard or fatherless.

He added that the bride price is more of a validation than even the result from a DNA test carried out.
WOW.
