In a bold restatement on its promise to customer satisfaction, mega carrier, British Airways has re-launched its ‘On Business’ loyalty programme for growing Businesses. The exclusive event which held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island on Thursday, 8th October 2015, was designed to support growing businesses make the most of their travel budget with the company’s employees accumulating points any time they travel, and points earned redeemable for valuable travel benefits at a later date. The high profile event was graced by top entrepreneurial and corporate tycoons, and high profile guests including the British Deputy High Commissioner, Ray Kyles.
Speaking to over 100 business owners in attendance at the event, British Airways Commercial Manager, West Africa, Mr Kola Olayinka, described On Business as a reward programme which allows company representatives to fly and attend meetings with clients if they need to, at an affordable rate and with exceptional customer service.
“Thanks to the partnership between British Airways, Iberia and American Airlines, On Business members now get to benefit from collecting and spending the points they have acquired across all three airlines under one programme,” he said.
To enrol in the ‘On Business’ programme, interested companies must register in the country where they have a registered business, by visiting the website www.britishairways.com/travel/on-business-how-it-works/public/en_gb. Employees of the companies signed up to the programme can accumulate On Business points for company travels on all British Airways, Iberia and American Airlines flights, can enjoy the travel benefits being offered. So far, On Business has helped businesses save over N10bn (£30 million) on flights worldwide since the programme was introduced in 2009.
