LOD, ISRAEL and GAITHERSBURG, MD–(Marketwired – Feb 10, 2014) – AudioCodes (NASDAQ: AUDC), a leading provider of converged voice solutions that enable enterprises and service providers to transition to all-IP voice networks, and BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSFT), the leading global provider of software that enables mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to deliver real-time communications over their IP networks, today announced that the two companies are collaborating on One Voice for Hosted Services, a program designed to help service providers accelerate time to revenue for their hosted communications services.
One Voice for Hosted Services combines the power of BroadSoft’s unified communications services with AudioCodes’ innovative IP phones, SMB routers, SBCs, ATAs and Gateways to provide an integrated, zero touch provisioning, low total cost of ownership (TCO) option for enterprise customers. This single platform addresses the needs of all business types.
BroadSoft’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Tessler, and AudioCodes Chief Executive Officer, Shabtai Adlersberg, together will introduce the benefits of One Voice for Hosted Services at the Skyloft Sheraton Airport hotel in Frankfurt, Germany on 19 February 2014. During the event, they will share their views on the competitive enterprise communication landscape and how this new program can provide greater value and accelerate the growth of a service provider’s hosted unified communications offers.
“We are committed to continuing to innovate on behalf of our service provider customers to ensure the rapid adoption of their hosted unified communications services,” said Michael Tessler, chief executive officer, BroadSoft. “We are excited to extend our collaboration with AudioCodes to offer a comprehensive, cost effective solution that will enable our customers to meet the needs of their enterprise customers, while speeding their time to revenue.”
“After many years of successful cooperation with BroadSoft, we are very pleased to take our relationship to the next level with the One Voice for Hosted Services program,” said Shabtai Adlersberg, CEO of AudioCodes. “AudioCodes prides itself in having the most interoperable platforms on the market and a complete suite of connectivity solutions – from IP Phones and Gateways, to SMB routers and Session Border Controllers. This allows us to package a ‘One Voice’ offering that removes the complexity of multiple vendors and reduces TCO, making it highly attractive for BroadSoft’s customers.”
“In today’s increasingly competitive environment and facing challenges from so-called Over-the-Top (OTT) applications impacting their businesses, service providers need to respond by bringing their own disruptive solutions to the market,” said Dean Bubley, Founder and Director of Disruptive Analysis, who will be presenting a keynote address at the joint kickoff event in Frankfurt. “Service providers need to find and exploit new revenue sources, despite the emerging profile of Internet players. Approaches such as the collaboration between BroadSoft and AudioCodes push towards removing complexity, reducing TCO and enabling service providers to bring new services into the market faster and easier — or even in an OTT model themselves.”
