In a scathing critique, Daniel Bwala, a former spokesman for the Atiku-Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, has branded Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, as a political “prostitute” and likened him to Judas Iscariot.
Bwala took to his social media handle to express his disdain, highlighting Obi’s alleged betrayals of prominent figures such as the late Biafra warlord, Odumegu Ojukwu, and former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Sharing a video of Obi pledging allegiance to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and vowing never to leave the party, Bwala accused Obi of hypocrisy, noting that despite his initial promises, Obi had since defected from APGA to PDP and then to LP, with purported plans to join the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Bwala’s post read: “Take a listen to @PeterObi in APGA vowing if he leaves APGA let his family die; this is before he embarked on his political olosho.
He has since moved from APGA to PDP to LP and is now planning to move to SDP. He betrayed Odimegwu Ojukwu, he betrayed Atiku Abubakar and now planning to betray Pat Utomi and co.
This Easter period we celebrate the decorated Judas Iscariot. Hear in this video an Obi-erodent making excuses for him, but they would not understand with anyone else.”
