Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has come out to hail late Special Adviser to the President on Education and National Ethics, Chief Samuel Kolawole Babalola.
Fayemi recently revealed that the life of Chief Samuel Kolawole Babalola was one that is worthy of emulation.
According to him, Babalola had an exemplary career and he was a thoroughbred teacher and an iconic educator.
He added that the deceased was one of the founding fathers of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) where his pioneering role remains indelible.
His words, “Right from his time in the Western Region Government where he served as Commissioner of Education under Gen Adeyinka Adebayo, Commissioner of Health Health under Brig. Oluwole Rotimi, later as Commissioner of Education in old Ondo State, under Chief Adekunle Ajasin and Special Adviser to President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief S.K. Babalola distinguished himself as an exemplary leader.”
