Nothing makes a loss worse than sprinkling in some disrespect.
The Dallas Cowboys knew what was at stake when they took the field in Week 16 to host the Seattle Seahawks.
It’s the same thing they’ve been trying to avoid for weeks now, considering one more loss would push them out of the playoff picture in the NFC. While the defense did more than their part, and with Ezekiel Elliott carrying the offense whenever given the chance — which began sporadic over the course of the game — the Cowboys fell 21-12 in large part to the poor play of quarterback Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant.
Russell Wilson definitely played a part, throwing two touchdowns on the day, but he was also held to only 93 passing yards on 14/21 attempts. Still, it’s Wilson walking away with the win after the Cowboys’ offense coughed up three turnovers, and his wife Ciara made her pleasure known by heading onto the field and moonwalking on the legendary Star logo.
It’s not the first time the Star has been desecrated, the most famous being by former wide receiver Terrell Owens — who headed to midfield after scoring against the Cowboys as a part of the San Francisco 49ers, only to be dismembered by then safety and resident enforcer George Teague.
The Cowboys are now 3-5 on their own field, so as disrespectful as Ciara was in her actions, the team itself has been even more so in 2017.
