The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has vehemently rejected the recent judgment of the Appeal Court regarding the state’s governorship election, declaring its intent to contest the decision at the Supreme Court.
In a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Barrister Valentine Onojeghuo, the APC expressed confidence that the mandate bestowed upon it by the people of the state would be reinstated.
The party underscored its belief in the commendable programs and the capability of its candidate, Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege.
Applauding its legal team for a job well done, the APC conveyed optimism about securing a favorable judgment at the apex court, citing a “watertight case.”
While urging its members to remain calm and hopeful, the party commended their steadfastness, support, and loyalty, assuring them that “there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
The statement emphatically asserted, “Our stolen mandate will surely be restored. It is only a matter of time.”
APC dismissed the Appeal Court judgment, expressing unwavering confidence in the Supreme Court to deliver justice in their favor.
