Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has insisted that rumours he wants a summer switch to Paris Saint-Germain have no foundation, focusing on maintaining his fine start to the campaign and doing enough to remain a long-term feature of Jose Mourinho’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
.
Hazard was quoted by Le Parisien earlier this week as telling a team-mate he will “certainly be joining Paris next summer”, despite Mourinho’s insistence that the Belgian playmaker is going nowhere.
.
The wing wizard starred in Chelsea’s return to the top of the Premier League earlier today, breaking the deadlock in a 2-0 win at Hull, and used his post- match interview to assure Chelsea fans he remains fully committed to the Blues beyond this season.
.
He told reporters: “I tried to give my best for the team and get the three points. Jose told me to work harder in training.
.
“I am 23, I’m old, I understand things in football now and in training I’ve been giving my best. I’m enjoying it here, I like this club and will keep going here for a long time.”
.
Chelsea’s top scorer has found the target 11 times in all competitions so far this season, producing the kind of performances on a consistent basis that justify his £32m capture from Lille in 2012.
.
The diminutive playmaker starred at the KC Stadium, with the Blues going onto record an important victory on the road as Fernando Torres also got on the scoresheet.

He is surely the wing wizard Chelsea needs in their club. Mourinho will never let him go. At least not now.
