Reports have it that the turnout of Nigerians to exercise their franchise in Ekiti State for the state House of Assembly elections is low.
Whether the situation will improve or not is still unknown but the current number is reduced compared to what was recorded during the last Presidential and National Assembly polls that witnessed large turnout of voters.
Some residents in the state were even seen wandering about on the streets, completely going against INEC’s order on limited movements.
NAN also report that even security personnels were relaxed as opposed to the last election.
More to come.
