Supporters of Kwankwasiyya, led by Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have turned to prayer as the Kano Gubernatorial Elections Tribunal prepares to announce its judgement in the Petition of the All Progressives Congress against the NNPP elected Abba Kabir Yusuf.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, National Leader of the NNPP Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Deputy Governor Aminu Abdussalam, State Secretary to the Government Dr. Baffa Bichi, and other high-ranking government officials all attended the special prayers held at Filing Mahaha.
Imam Sani Hashir, who led the prayers, said: “We prayed here today to express our thanks to Allah for granting us victory in the 2023 general elections and for keeping our communities safe, our state secured, and our country safe.”
Pipe carried water has started streaming in all regions of Kano State; street lights have been restored; hospitals are being repaired and equipped; and we are fortunate with leaders who have begun transforming the landscape of the state.
While rehabilitating roads and getting rid of garbage dumps, he said, Kano State pays the registration costs of nearly 7,000 low-income students at Bayero University.
But despite these preparations, enemies of the people are plotting to undermine our leaders in the lead up to the current administration’s 100th day in office.
