Epicor will showcase two new Epicor Retail solutions designed to support omni-channel execution and optimize the customer experience at its booth this year. Making its NRF debut will be Epicor Retail Cross Commerce, the company’s new omni-channel offering that bridges the gap among online, mobile and brick-and-mortar realms for a more satisfying consumer experience and streamlined retail management. Additionally, the company will announce general availability of the Epicor Retail CRM 7.0 solution, which continues to gain adoption as the foundation for winning customer engagement and loyalty strategies for a growing number of leading retailers.
Supporting the next evolution of mobility in the retail enterprise, Epicor will also showcase the Epicor Retail Store Windows 8 Tablet Edition, offering retail associates one-touch information with side bar flows on customers, product, inventory and more — all from a familiar Windows® platform. Attendees can see it first hand, by joining the Epicor and Microsoft NRF Big !deas Session, Windows 8 POS Tablet: Why Less Really is More, at 11 a.m. ET Tuesday, January 14, in Room 1, Level 1 Expo Hall.

Noel Goggin and Bob McFarland Join Epicor Retail Team — Recognizing the growth potential in retail, Epicor and its board made substantial investments in 2013, one being to strengthen the Epicor Retail team with seasoned retail executives. The company welcomed retail industry veteran Noel Goggin to the post of senior vice president and general manager of the Epicor Retail solutions business, and Bob McFarland to the post of vice president of sales. The two retail veterans will help guide the delivery of Epicor Retail product and service offerings to address key retail imperatives such as globalization, omni-channel execution, customer experience, cloud offerings, and other new and emerging innovative technologies and opportunities.
Epicor Named Leading Retail Point of Sale Vendor, Adds New Retail Brands to Client Roster — The company was named the No. 1 vendor of Retail Point of Sale Software among the top 250 largest specialty soft goods and hard goods retailers for the third year running, added more than 20 major new retail brands to its client list.
Epicor Expands Roster of Retail SaaS Customers — The Epicor Retail Software as a Service (SaaS) suite solution continued to be adopted by leading retailers, including New Balance. The Boston-based athletic shoe company, known for its commitment to product performance, quality and American manufacturing, has selected the SaaS solution, which offers a Cloud-based delivery method that dramatically reduces capital investment and implementation requirements.

As well, Epicor signed a number of new deals in 2013 to aid retailers looking to grow their retail business around the globe. Notable new customers included Australian-based Cue Design, Montreal-based Groupe Yellow; Mexico’s Groupo Axo; and iconic brand Haggar Clothing Company, in its efforts to expand in the United States and in Canada. In addition, Epicor supported Australian-based retailer General Pants Group in its launch of a unique interactive kiosk initiative.
