Ghana coach, Chris Hughton has come out to take responsibility after the Black Stars’ poor AFCON outing in Ivory Coast. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it is sad that Ghana finished with just two points with a lot of energy spent, and losing concentration at the wrongest times ended up costing the nation badly.
Chris added that the Black Stars were not as good as they would have hoped, and he takes full responsibility for that.
His words, “In three matches, we have two points with a lot of energy spent. We were in a position where you had to score three goals to be safe. We lost concentration.
It is very difficult when you hold a two-goal lead and get caught up in a few minutes. We haven’t been as good as we would have hoped. We lost a lot of points. We put ourselves in a good position to win but we were caught. I take the responsibility.”
WOW.
