Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has praised the state’s security forces for helping to bring stability back to formerly unstable areas.
After Wednesday’s meeting of the State Security Council, Governor Sani made the announcement on his Facebook page.
He claims that thousands of IDPs are returning to their original communities. He pleaded with them to increase funding for security forces so that they can keep up the pace of land and air operations in regions where terrorists, bandits, and kidnappers are active.
“Today, I chaired the Kaduna State Security Council Meeting and received briefings from heads of security agencies on current and emerging security threats as well as suggestions for checkmating or routing criminal elements in Kaduna State,” he wrote.
