The former Chief Security Officer to the late Head of State, General Sani Abacha, Major Hamza Al-Mustapha, has stated that Nigeria can have the upper hand in the war against the Boko Haram insurgency if ongoing security operations are not frequently put out in the public domain as is currently obtainable.
The former CSO, who made this known when he visited a victim of the last bomb blast in Nyanya, Abuja, currently receiving free treatment at a private hospital in Garki, said every Nigerian citizen must contribute in every little way towards restoring peace and safety in the country.
In his response, the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr Christopher Otabor, said their gesture towards the bomb blast victim, who was a petty trader until the blast, is to encourage Nigerians to contribute towards finding solutions to the problem rather than just talking about it.
