The Disc Jockey and billionaire heiress had taken to her Twitter page on Monday, October 1, 2018, where she tweeted about the Independence Day celebration.
“Today, we experience the joy and pride of being called NIGERIANS! The greatest nation. #NigeriaAt58 #Nierian independence day ” she tweeted.
It didn’t take long before she began to receive comments over the tweet. Just like a lot of Nigerians who weren’t happy about the situation in the country, they probably didn’t know she wasn’t the head of the country as they took out their frustrations on Cuppy.
For some other fans, they appreciated her over her courage and even gave her thumbs up over her Independence Day portrait.
This is not the first time DJ Cuppy will be causing a lot of commotion on social media as we can all recall that a few weeks ago when she revealed why she is no longer a feminist, it didn’t go down well with a lot of people.
