Niger State governorship aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Isah Liman Kantigi has revealed that he has no case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as being speculated in some quarters.
The aspirant who made the claims while addressing the PDP, zone B delegates at the party secretariat in Minna, said the commission consists of people not spirits and when invited, he would surely honour their invitation.
Kantigi, a former state Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under the immediate past administration of Governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu, said the rumours were in the imagination of some mischief-makers. ”I am ready to challenge those peddling such rumours concerning me having a case with the EFCC. And, the EFCC is not a spirit, it is made of people and if invited I will honour the invitation”
The governorship aspirant called on the delegates to disregard all unpalatable rumours concerning him.
