Juventus midfielder, Adrien Rabiot has come out to pledge his support to Paul Pogba. This is coming as the Frenchman awaits his punishment after failing a doping test, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he recently had dinner with Pogba before joining up with his national teammates, and the star midfielder has not stopped smiling despite the many controversies that have halted his career.
Rabiot added that even if his situation is very disheartening, he hopes Pogba gets the lightest sanction possible.
His words, “I don’t know what will happen to Pogba. We always talk. We met before I joined up the national team and we had dinner together. Paul is always smiling and outgoing. I think the situation is weighing on him. I hope he manages to get the lightest sanction possible. Paul is disheartened. He’s a great player, a great man. Dealing with everything he had to go through is very difficult for any person.”
