Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has told the people of the state to relax and be sure that he will do his possible best to repay the faith shown in him after he got re-elected for a second term of four years.
He vowed to concentrate more on the present unfinished projects his administration began before elections and also start new ones to develop the state.
His words, “In our next four years in office, we will consolidate on what we have started so that we don’t leave anything unfinished as well as identify key areas we need to improve on.” He expressed satisfaction on the outcome of the elections and commended the people of the state for the level of confidence reposed in him, saying:
“I am very happy with the outcome of the election and from the number of votes we got, it shows the confidence Nigerlites have in this administration and we will not disappoint you.”
Niger East senator-elect, Alhaji Mohammed Musa, hailed the governor on his re-election.
His words, “I believe that Governor Abubakar Bello has shown commitment towards the realisation of APC’s change mantra, which is geared towards transforming Nigeria and Niger State in particular through robust economic programmes and policies that have direct bearing on the general well-being of the people.”
