Deputy President of the Senate, Chief Ike Ekweremadu has revealed that he will retire from the Senate four years from now.
Ekweremadu, who is representing Enugu West in the National Assembly declared this yesterday in Enugu during his 57th birthday celebration.
He shared that he believes it is time to exit the legislature, and the time he has left will be enough to wrap up the ongoing projects in his constituency.
His words, “I have been scorched and bruised and in all of these, God protected me. This will be my last time as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
