Juventus manager, Andrea Pirlo has come out to say that he knows he has a decision to make on Cristiano Ronaldo’s ongoing presence in defensive walls. He recently revealed this after the Portuguese striker got criticized for ducking during a freekick again.
According to him, such moments happen in football, unfortunately, so it’s up to his coaches to decide if he’ll be included in the walls henceforth.
He added that Agnelli told him about the ESL, but all along his focus was always on qualifying for the UCL next season.
His words, “Unfortunately these things happen, we will evaluate what to do in the next matches and whether to put him in the wall.”
On the ESL, “Agnelli explained what was happening, but that the most important thing was to secure a place in the top four to qualify for the Champions League.”
“I already spoke about it, so did the president and the director.”
“We all know the same things. Something has to be changed on the European level, because the ideas that were proposed were good ones, but we are also open to other suggestions and will respect the rules.”
