Inter Miami manager, Tata Martino has come out to give an update as to how he’ll use Lionel Messi going forward. He recently admitted that the veteran’s international commitments will impact plans, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, there will have to be more rotations when Messi goes to play for Argentina, and he would most likely miss at least three games for the club this year.
Tata added that his teammates simply need to understand that the club must keep winning in his absence.
His words, “We put a lot of value in this win because this [playing with a rotation] is something we need to get used to because Leo is going to join his national team. He’ll miss at least three games this year and next year it will be the same, and we need to understand that when he’s not here the team still needs to provide results.”
