Kuku also stated that he did not have any grouse against Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State.
Kuku, who is from Ondo, maintained that he would continue to support progressive members from the fold of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, aspiring to occupy the position of governor in the state.
The presidential aide’s comments were contained in an e-mail sent by the Head of Media and Communications of the Amnesty Office, Mr. Daniel Alabrah.
Kuku, a former member of the Ondo State House of Assembly stressed that he would always demand the infrastructural development of the state.
This, he reiterated his commitment to because of the neglect of his area by the Mimiko Administration.
“For the umpteenth time, let me state that I have no governorship ambition now or in the future just as I have nothing against the Ondo State Government or the Governor.
“But I will continue to support progressive individuals in my party that have such ambition and are committed to bringing real change and development to Ondo State.
“My only concern and demand to the state government is the infrastructure development of my area.
“I am irrevocably committed to this position because I believe the current LP government has neglected my area”, the statement read in part.
