Mr Jimi Agbaje, and his competition from the All Progressives Congress, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, were both nowhere to be found at the debate organised by the Nigeria Medical Association in Lagos on Wednesday.
The candidates that showed up included Mr Babatunde Gbadamosi (African Democratic Party), Mr Francis Adebayo (Alliance for New Nigeria), Mr Owolabi Salis (Alliance for Democracy), Mrs Adebisi Ogunsanya (Young Progressive Party), Dr Sam Anyamele (United Democratic Party), Ven. Funso Awe (National Conscience Party), Mr Oluwaseun Ajireloja (Africa Action Congres) and Dr Segun Musa (Africa Nations Development Programme).
At the debate, The candidate of the ANN, Adebayo, said he would cancel all health insurance schemes and block all the loopholes for excessive spending in the state.
His words, “If all the loopholes are blocked, we will have enough funds to allow citizens to enjoy free health service.”
