The two European clubs have been monitoring the situation of the teenage midfielder who has been a target of Dutch Eredivisie side, Ajax.

Yusuf is supposed to have travelled to Amsterdam but has encountered delays in obtaining permit to enter The Netherlands following an invitation from Ajax director Marc Overmars.

The 18-year-old has been unable to secure necessary paperwork from the Dutch embassy which has now left the trip to Amsterdam in doubt.

With the trip to Ajax looking in doubt, Juventus and Liverpool are looking to pounce for the talented youngster.

Yusuf despite feeling sad about the delays in making the trip to Ajax is “proud with the interest from Juventus and Liverpool.”

“I was very sad with all the delays with obtaining a permit to join Ajax Amsterdam but I am also excited and proud with the interest from Juventus and Liverpool. If I go to Holland, England or Italy I will be very happy because these are big football countries. I watch their football almost everyday. My manager is working to fix everything. He knows what is best for my career. For me I will continue training very hard, everything is in the hands of God,” Yusuf told supersport.com in the wake of interests from top European clubs.
