Nollywood filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has recovered his piece of luggage.
This comes a day after sending out a distress call stating that he is stranded in Paris after he forgot his bag containing his passport, laptop and other belongings in an Uber taxi.
Kunle who is currently in France for the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival took to Instagram to reveal that his bag containing his personal belongings has been found while thanking fans for their efforts.
“Thanks guys for all the outburst and reaching out. @uber@uberparis brought my bag today. I really appreciate everyone who showed concern. Ire,” he wrote on the social media platform.
The movie producer and director made his predicament public when it happened about 24-hours ago by sending out a message on Instagram saying he is yet to retrieve his belongings hours after he forgot them in the Uber taxi.
He wrote, “HELP! We rode with this Uber this morning from the airport in @Paris to town and unfortunately forgot a small bag which has my international passport, laptop and other valuables. I have reached out to Uber Twitter, they responded that I will be contacted shortly a few hours ago but up till now I am still waiting. Kindly help.”
