Super Eagles defender, Kenneth Omeruo has come out to urge Leganes to continue their impressive run of form. He recently revealed that a decent run of games from now till the end of the season will surely help to brighten their chances of returning to La Liga.
According to him, the players can still improve this season because it is important to get close to the teams at the top of the table as soon as possible.
He added that only hard work and resilience can make things happen for the Spanish club this campaign.
His words, “I am very happy with this game because it’s a very important game for us, we have to keep improving to get close to the teams at the top and right now we have a good rhythm and it is important that we continue,”
“We did not have enough time to prepare for this game but the coach did a lot of work for us to understand how to get close to them before the ball.”
“Even when we had the goal, we had to keep going and it shows we worked hard that is why we got this result today.”
