Matt Argall Researches the Water Filtration Industry

MIAMI, FL–(Marketwired – Mar 20, 2014) – According to a report by the Ralph Nader Research Institute that evaluated over 10,000 documents acquired through the Freedom of Information Act, drinking water in the U.S. contains more than 21,000 toxic chemicals that can cause cancer. There are many reasons for tap water contamination, including the improper use of household chemicals or agricultural runoff. The omnipresent use of man-made chemicals has increased to such a degree that traces of low-level Synthetic Organic Chemicals (SOCs) can be found in almost every public water supply system around the world. Due to the natural hydrological cycle, there is no such thing as “new” water, so chemicals in the water accumulate, leading to its increased toxicity. And while the Earth filters many natural contaminants, toxic SOCs remain in the water.
