Ex-Paris Saint-Germain star, Jerome Rothen has come out to hail Kylian Mbappe for his resurgence at Real Madrid. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Mbappe is gradually returning to his amazing form of two years ago, and he expects him to deliver quality performances consistently in the coming games.
He then urged the attacker to step down as captain of the French national team and focus solely on being a player, not a leader.
His words, “He is more and more consistent, he is better in his runs and technically. We are gradually finding the Mbappe of two years ago and this Mbappe is a f*cking player.
I think Mbappe should only focus his communication on football. Regarding the armband in the French team, after everything that has happened, I think he should give it up.”

On 22 February 2018, Mbappé was joined by former African strikers George Weah and Didier Drogba in a meeting with French President, Emmanuel Macron and FIFA president Gianni Infantino at the Élysée Palace in Paris, which focused on a sports development project in Africa. Mbappé stated that the development of African sport is important to him due to his parents’ African origins.
