Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has just released a video of the damage done to her face by her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry.
The movie star took to Instagram today Thursday, June 29, 2017, with a video talking about domestic violence.
Aigbe would also be leading a walk against domestic violence on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Ikoyi.
She wrote, “Violence is not an option! It is inhumane and shouldn’t be condoned!…………..
#saynotodomesticviolence #noshameinmypain #speakout Battery and Assault is a crime punishable under the law!
Join us tomorrow for the walk against domestic violence! Start off point is at Falomo Bridge by Awolowo Road….10am.”
This comes after Lanre Gentry said he has moved on. He shared a photo depicting, “I am at that stage of life where I don’t care if someone stays or leaves.”
He wrote, “Que Sera; Sera
What will be; will be. Sometimes we put so much effort trying to put broken pieces together.
Take time to think; be appreciative of all situations and be grateful for whatever door that’s been slammed on your face.
Be grateful for what God has blocked. If you like you stay; if you like you go. I will continue to say the truth.”
Recall that Aigbe arrived the UK last month to see a maxillofacial surgeon due to the injuries allegedly inflicted upon her by her now estranged husband, Lanre Gentry.
Mercy has moved on and on Sunday, May 28, 2017, visited a water park with friends and was pictured all smiles as she flaunted her body in a one-piece swimsuit.
